This week we bid welcome to Tayyaba Zafar.

Tayyaba was awarded the International PhD research grant here at DARK, which was announced last summer. She will be working in room 119.

Tayyaba comes from Pakistan and completed her MSc at University of the Punjab, Lahore in 2006. After receiving her MSc, she taught at the same university for 1.5 years to undergraduates.

Tayyaba will be working on The star-formation history of the universe, and The properties of dark matter with Darach as her main supervisor.

Tayyaba’s interests include listening to music and reading- she also has a great fascination with seeing new places and meeting new people.

We hope she thrives here at DARK and enjoys her 3-year stay in Denmark!
