Visit by Alexander J. van der Horst

Alexander J. van der Horst is currently a NASA Postdoctoral Program Fellow at the National SpaceScience & Technology Center in Huntsville, Alabama (USA) and is a member of the GLAST Burst Monitor team.
His research activities: Theoretical and observational work on gamma-ray bursts and their afterglows: relativistic blast wave physics; modeling of broadband gamma-ray burst spectra and light curves; radio observations of gamma-ray bursts and other phenomena.
Alexander will be working with with Daniele, Michal, and Dong, among others.
On Tuesday, 15 th April at 13.15 in the Dark Lounge, Alexander will be giving the talk: "Low-Frequency Radio View on Gamma-Ray Bursts"
