Max Pettini is visting DARK 2-3 Oct. attending Christina Thönes PhD thesis defence as an opponent.
Max Pettini from Institute of Astronomy, Cambrudge, UK, is studying the intergalactic medium and distant galaxies. He is one of the leading figures in the efforts for unravelling cosmic chemical evolution and the star formation history of the Universe.
This year, The Royal Astronomical Society awarded Max Pettini The Herschel Medal for his seminal contributions to extragalactic cosmology.
