Chryssa Kouveliotou at DARK 2-3 October

Chryssa Kouveliotou of NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, will be at DARK and attending Christina Thönes PhD thesis defence.
Chryssa Kouveliotou is working within the field of high energy astrophysics and, in particular, she received the prestigeous Bruno Rossi Prize in 2003 as recognition for her research and scientific observations to confirm the existence of magnetars. She has also received the European Descartes Prize for her contributions to the study of gamma ray bursts.
